Does my insurance cover that?

Dental insurances are diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees, while others cover 50% or greater. The more you or your employer pays for premiums, the better the coverage, in most cases. Generally, dental insurance covers some restorative dentistry and preventive dentistry procedures. Purely cosmetic dentistry treatment is usually not covered. Unless restricted by your insurance plan to a specific dental office contracted to limit the insurance company’s financial exposure (one must question in who’s best interest that restriction benefits most), we do see and treat patients from most dental plans.  Even if restricted, you are welcomed here and we have patients from several DHMO-type operations that have made that choice.  Filling out dental insurance forms can be a hassle–we know that first hand.  To make it easier on you, we will still fill out your forms and send them into your carrier electronically at the end of each day.   Click here to learn more about dental insurance, and then give our Salisbury dental office a call if you have any questions. We’ll be happy to advise what your insurance will cover.
